Stowmarket Foodbank Update

We had a very engaging speaker from Stowmarket Foodbank at the Men's Breakfast on Saturday 3rd October.

The Stowmarket and Area Foodbank was launched in October 2012 to provide individuals and families from Stowmarket and the surrounding areas who are in crisis with emergency food parcels. It is run in conjunction with other churches in the area, through Stowmarket Churches Together.



Since we started supporting the foodbank last December, St John's have donated a staggering 422.5kg of food, not to mention other financial donations. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone for all your giving, to help people in crisis.

However, the need unfortunately goes on. Here are the current urgent needs : Sugar, Jellies, toilet rolls 2 or 4 packs, Tinned Tomatoes.
