Cake & Card Sale at St Johns & other news

Cards and Cakes on sale on Sunday
There are 2 services next Sunday. A short Holy Communion service is at 9:00am and the monthly Family Service is at 10:30am.

Please come with plenty of money to support the Cards and Cakes sale after the 10:30am service. This is to raise much needed funds for the church. You can also pay by card using the church's contactless unit.

Travelling Nativity Set
Also on Sunday, please sign up to host the St John's Travelling Nativity Set for a night or two during Advent, which begins this Sunday. The sign-up sheet is at the back of church.

All we ask is you please pass the set on to the next household on the list on the appropriate date. It should fit through most standard letterboxes. Help can be available with the sets onward journey if required.

This is a lovely way to share the story of Jesus birth in our homes this Christmas and maybe take the opportunity to invite people along to a service as well.

Funeral of Betty Rice
Betty Rice sadly passed away on 4 November. Her funeral will take place on Wednesday 10 December at 11:00am at St John's.
