On Sunday we looked at some of the false ideas people have about Christianity and saw how the little letter to Philemon shows they are unfounded. If you missed the service, you can watch it on the St John's YouTube channel.
We round off our series on Philemon this coming Sunday as we unpack the fascinating story that lies behind the letter and see how relevant it is still today. The service will also include the Lord's Supper. Sunday School will be finding out about God's call to Abraham.
It is not too late to join the new small group meeting at The Rectory on Sunday evenings at 7:00pm to look at Matthew's gospel. If you would like to come or wish to find out more, please email Peter
Harvest Sunday is on 5 October. Please bring donations of non-perishable food items, which we will pass onto the Stowmarket and area foodbank. You are welcome to stay afterwards for a Harvest Bring & Share lunch - please sign up on the form at the back of church.
