If you happen to wander into the churchyard and wonder if aliens have landed, these strange objects are actually pan traps. A Masters degree student is researching how different types of graveyard management techniques influence pollinator biodiversity within churchyards in Suffolk. These traps will appear for the occasional 24 hours from time to time in the next few months.
