Mission Sunday and bring & share lunch
This Sunday (11 May) is Mission Sunday and we have a guest speaker, Alex McCann. There is also a Church "Bring & Share Lunch" afterwards - please sign up on the sheet at the back of church or email elmswellrector@gmail.com if you would like to come (and what food item you can bring).
Men's Breakfast and Ladies Tea – 17 May
The next men’s breakfast is on 17 May (8:20am for 8:30am) - please sign up at the back of church or email Peter (elmswellrector@gmail.com) if you would like to come. Later that day at 3pm, there is a Ladies Tea, when Liz Mellen will be speaking about her time in Africa, helping women to use craft skills to earn a living, and also how her work in Suffolk as a potter is influenced by her faith. There will be plenty of drinks, cake and fruit to enjoy. If you would like to come, please sign up at church or let Lisa (legoodridge@gmail.com) or Amanda (amanda.fairgrieve.577@btinternet.com) know.
Giving to the work of St John's
A reminder that is you would like to give regularly to the church, you can set up a direct debit through the Parish Giving Scheme. If you would rather not set it up online, paper forms are available at the back of church.
