The service next Sunday includes the Lord’s Supper and the main reading is Acts 9:1-19 (The conversion of St Paul).
A reminder that Elmfest (the Elmswell autumn fair) takes place at The Blackbourne on Saturday 7 September between 12:00 and 17:00. Please support this community event and if you are available to help at the stall, please let Peter know. We will also need some help transporting tables etc, setting up/clearing away, and people available during the day. We aim to have some information about the local churches, opportunities for people to chat and some Sunday School craft activities.
The Suffolk Historic Churches Trust Ride & Stride is on event is on Saturday 14 September. It would be great to have the church open during the day - if you are able to spend an hour or two at the church to welcome visitors, please sign up on the rota at the back of church. If you would like to take part in the sponsored cycle ride or walk to raise money for Suffolk Churches, information is also at the back of church.
A date for the diaries – John Evan’s band Nutz ‘n’ Boltz is kindly performing a fund-raising concert on Friday 8 November. Please come and also invites friends for a highly enjoyable evening. Donations on the night kindly received.
