St John's News - 30 January 2024

Dear friends,

Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ,
excluded - without hope and without God in the world.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away
have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 2:12-13

If you missed the service on Sunday, you can find it on our YouTube channel.

There are 2 services this coming Sunday - a shorter service of Holy Communion at 9:00am (with no hymns) and the all age family service at 10:30am. We shall be thinking about the occasion Jesus forgave a paralysed man lowered down through a hole in the roof, before going on to call a tax collector to follow him.

Ash Wednesday is on Wednesday 14 February and we will be marking this at 5:00pm with a short service including the imposition of ashes. All are welcome.

The funeral of Margaret Jones will take place at St John's on Monday 19 February at 11:00am.

Bookings for the Cambridge Women's Bible Conference on Saturday 2 March are now open. Lisa, Anne and Rachael already have their tickets, but spaces are going fast. Book here:
