During this coming Sunday's service there will be a thanksgiving and renewal of wedding vows for Mark and Jayne Knights (married 20 years). The talk will be on our next Woman of Faith, Hannah (1 Samuel chapters 1 and 2) and there is a short celebration of the Lord's Supper. Although there is no Sunday School, there will be a Bible bite and craft activity for the children in the service.
On 22nd October 2023 at 3:00pm, there is a Confirmation Service for our deanery at Lavenham. If you would like to know more about getting confirmed, then please have a word with the Rector.
The weekly church prayer meeting is on Zoom on Saturday at 9:00am for 40 minutes. You are welcome to join us by clicking here or, load Zoom and use Meeting ID: 685 295 1296 and Password: 816262.
A reminder that forms for Ride & Stride (taking place on 10th September) are at the back of church. We are looking for volunteers to welcome visitors at the church (shifts of an hour) during the day. If you are able to help, please sign up on the rota at the back of church.
Finally, you are invited to visit an Open Garden on Sunday 30th July between 12 noon and 3pm at Willow House, School Road, Elmswell IP30 9EA (near the Co-op Bus Stops). There are a variety of garden settings to see: Shady, wild flower, pond, roses, dahlias, herb bed, soft fruit, flowering borders and trees. There will be a small plant stall. There is no entry fee, but donations please, in aid of Cancer Research UK. Please come on foot, as there is no parking available.
