The Friends of St John's
On Sunday, we celebrated the work of the Friends of St John's. Thank you so much to the Friends for providing the lovely lunch and for raising so much money for the church fabric over the years. If you missed the service, you can watch it on our YouTube channel. It is well worth watching to hear a bit more about the Friends, but, most of all, Catherine Joughin's sermon on "Let us go to the house of the Lord!" Catherine’s talk is definitely worth listening to. A comment on our YouTube Channel says "it is one of the best words I have heard in a long time, simple yet deep, thank you so much for putting this up for anyone to watch, I will forward this to friends. God bless you all at St. John's Elmswell."

Next Sunday
Next Sunday's Holy Communion service (25 June) at 10:30am sees the concluding part of our series on 2 Peter. There will also be a short slot on Animal Companionship by Trina Stone from Our Special Friends.

Weekly Prayer Meeting
