It's Fill a shoe box time again!

This year we''re hoping to donate lots of items to Gatehouse, Bury St Edmunds.

The people at Gatehouse run clubs and provide lunches, meetings and outings, etc for residents of Bury and surrounding area who are lonely, unwell, less able to cope with everyday life, have suffered with fire, flood, etc in their home.

We can help by decorating a shoe box with festive paper and filling it with some of the following:

Christmas Pudding, Cake and biscuits

Other festive fare that will keep until after Christmas

Tins of soup, tins of fruit, etc.

Hats, gloves and scarves (for men and women)

Word search and other puzzle books

Toiletries (for men and women)

Please decorate and fill your box and bring it to church on Sunday 9 December ready for delivering to Gatehouse in time for them to distribute. Please do not seal up your box. (Last year they delivered 470 boxes!)

Anything not used in the Christmas hampers will be used in the usual Foodbank administered by Gatehouse.

There are some shoe boxes at the back of the Church.
