Holiday Club - Prayer Update

Good morning all.

Just wanted to give you an update on Holiday Club and how we can be praying.

We have almost 60 primary school children and over 20 Fit Crew (teenage helpers) and everybody is having a wonderful time – praise God. Please give thanks for the perfect weather, for no first aid needs over the past 2 days, for Ian and Elaine’s wonderful leading, teaching and entertainment up front, for all the small group leaders and the helpers in the kitchen etc. I was concerned we might be short of small group leaders/helpers, but everything fitted into place perfectly at the last minute – I should learn to trust God more!

Please play for continued safety and for Ian & Elaine. Pray particularly for the children to encounter Jesus in a special way over the next 3 days as they hear more about him. Pray that they would give their hearts to him. Please also remember our hot dog supper at 5pm on Thursday, where families will join us for food and a taste of holiday club. Pray for opportunities to build relationships and that people might be drawn into the church family. We will be giving invitations to forthcoming services – let’s ask God to bless this and call more people to faith and salvation.
